In severe cases, blood in the urine or feces and headaches due to low platelets in your blood\u003cbr\u003e•\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003efrequent infections such as fever, severe chills, sore throat or mouth ulcers due to lack of white blood cells\u003cbr\u003eThese side effects are rare but serious. You may need medical attention. Other possible side effects include: sweating and sleepiness \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003eOther medicines and Nizatidine:\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/b\u003eTell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines. This includes medicines obtained without a prescription. \u003cbr\u003e•\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003ea medicine called a salicylate (i.e. aspirin), normally used to relieve minor aches and pains.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cb\u003eHow to take Nizatidine:\u003c\/b\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cb\u003e\u003cbr\u003eAdults (including older people)\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/b\u003e•\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eFor stomach or duodenal ulcers: The recommended dose is 150 mg in the morning and 150 mg in the evening or 300 mg taken as a single dose in the evening for 4 weeks. If your ulcer has not fully healed after 4 weeks, your doctor will treat you for a further 4 weeks.
